Web-to-print platforms compared: W2P Solution, DesignNBuy, Infigo, Pressero and Printess

Web-to-print platforms differ most in deployment, storefront model, MIS connections and how pricing is shown. This page compares W2P Solution, DesignNBuy, Infigo, Pressero and Printess on public vendor facts dated 6 November 2026 and says where each is stronger, so a commercial print shop can shortlist by its own requirements rather than by a ranking.

What is being compared, and how were the facts gathered?

This page sets five web-to-print platforms side by side for a commercial print shop that is building a shortlist: W2P Solution, DesignNBuy, Infigo, Pressero and Printess. The four other names are market players, not adversaries; each has customers who chose it for good reasons. Every statement about a market player below paraphrases that vendor's own website as read on 6 November 2026 and is registered in a claim record with its source address. Where a vendor's site does not cover a criterion, the table says so instead of guessing. No review-site rating, price or third-party opinion is used, because none could be verified from a primary source on that date.

One difference matters before any table: Printess presents itself as an online editor delivered as software as a service, with APIs and plugins, that sits inside a store another system provides. The other four present a storefront or commerce platform that includes or connects an editor. Comparing an editor with a store platform is not like for like, and the table marks it.

Where is each platform stronger?

DesignNBuy has the longer public history: it says it started in 2009, and it states that it serves more than 2,000 print businesses. It names five storefront integrations plus standalone and API modes, offers both subscription and perpetual licence options, and describes several reseller and partner models. Its editor options, including variable data printing, are broad.

Infigo is the stronger fit where a print business already runs a print MIS. It names native connections to five MIS and operations systems and lists credit accounts and a purchase-order flow, which suit trade and account customers.

Pressero comes from the vendor with the earliest founding date stated on these sites: Aleyant says it was founded in 2005 and launched Pressero in 2010, and it states more than 18,000 active storefronts. It shows tiered plans publicly, lists approvals, budgets and purchase orders, and sits beside the vendor's own MIS, prepress and preflight products.

Printess is the specialist editor of the group. It names nine integrations, including Magento and Shopware, has a public pricing page, and lists AI tools for templates, text, background removal, upscaling and text-to-design. It does not set out to replace the store.

W2P Solution comes from Netbase JSC, which was founded in Hanoi in 2012, shipped its first web-to-print product designer in October 2016 and had a cloud platform online by March 2018. Its strengths are a fixed set-up commitment, an in-house print API, and one product with three editions. Its limits are stated further down.

Which web-to-print software suits a commercial print shop?

The right shortlist follows the shop's hardest requirement, not the longest feature list.

  • A shop whose MIS must receive orders automatically. Start with Infigo, which names its MIS connections, then DesignNBuy and Pressero, which describe MIS links. Ask each for the connector status for your exact MIS version.
  • A shop that already has a store and wants a better editor. Printess, or the editors inside DesignNBuy and Pressero, address this directly. Replacing the store is not necessary.
  • A shop that wants plans it can read before a sales call. Pressero and Printess show plan or pricing pages publicly; W2P Solution, Infigo and DesignNBuy ask for a conversation or quote.
  • A shop that wants a managed launch on a fixed timeline. W2P Solution is the option here that commits to a handover within 7 business days, with the Netbase JSC team doing the set-up.
  • A trade printer or agency that resells stores to its own clients. DesignNBuy publishes the most developed reseller models. W2P Solution's Marketplace edition serves marketplace selling, which is a different job.
  • A shop selling packaging or labels. W2P Solution's first release supports flat print products such as cards, flyers and posters, so packaging and label buyers should look first at platforms that describe those products.

What does W2P Solution do differently?

W2P Solution is built on Laravel and a print API that Netbase JSC develops and runs for online design and print-ready output. The online designer saves each design with the cart line, and for every paid order the store obtains a print-ready PDF for each order line, with its own copy, checksum, and trim and bleed boxes. The print API includes AI artwork jobs that a person approves or rejects. Customer code runs in an extension layer kept apart from the core, so the base product can be upgraded per store after testing. The Netbase JSC team sets up each store, which is the reason a 7-business-day handover is a commitment rather than a target. Plans are three editions and all are priced by quote.

See how a quote is shaped

As of 12 October 2026, Netbase JSC's project records list 500+ custom web-to-print projects, and it has delivered web-to-print projects for clients in 80+ countries, which is the experience behind the product. Web2Print Solutions is operated by Netbase JSC, a company headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam.

What should you send if you are still deciding?

Send a project brief naming your current storefront, your MIS if you have one, the product types you sell and the one requirement you cannot compromise on. The first reply states plainly whether W2P Solution fits, and if it does not, which approach in the build options comparison does. You can also try the self-serve demo store first.

Frequently asked questions

Not on its own site's description. Printess presents a white-label editor delivered as a cloud service with APIs and plugins, intended to sit inside a store built elsewhere. A print shop still needs a storefront, checkout and order handling from another system.

As of 6 November 2026, Infigo names five MIS and operations systems, DesignNBuy mentions RIP, MIS and ERP integrations, and Pressero describes third-party MIS links plus its own cloud MIS. W2P Solution does not publish a native connector list.

No. All plans are priced by quote. The same is true of Infigo, which says its pricing is customised. Pressero and Printess show plan or pricing pages publicly. Read the pricing page for what shapes a W2P Solution quote.

It depends on the approval, budget and account features required. W2P Solution's B2B Procurement edition covers organisations, approvals and budgets; punch-out is on the roadmap and not available on any edition today.

Limitations

Facts about DesignNBuy, Infigo, Pressero and Printess come from each vendor's own website as read on 6 November 2026 and may have changed since; vendors' statements about their own size and capability are theirs, not independent measurements. Capabilities not covered by those pages are marked as such, not assumed absent. No price, rate, review rating or ranking is given for any platform. Web2Print Solutions is the web-to-print engineering service of Netbase JSC, which also operates W2P Solution, so this page has an interest; the claim records and sources let any statement be checked.
