Who is Retail for?
Retail is built for print shops, photo and gift sellers, and promotional product sellers who want to sell personalised print online without commissioning custom software. A subscriber runs the store under its own brand: name, logo, colours and the emails and designer their customers see all carry the subscriber's identity, not Netbase's or W2P's.
What does a customer actually do on a Retail store?
A buyer browses a personalisable catalogue, opens the built-in online designer to upload artwork or edit a template, and sees a price that updates as they change quantity, size or options. Checkout runs through a hosted payment page connected to the subscriber's own payment account. On payment, the store generates a print-ready PDF for the order and places it in a production queue with a visible status, from received through to shipped.

How does Retail compare with the other editions?

A subscriber that later needs procurement controls or vendor routing moves to B2B Procurement or Marketplace; each one includes everything Retail does, so nothing already configured is lost.
How does hosting and setup work?
The Netbase team sets up every Retail store; subscribers do not set the store up themselves. The store is handed over within 7 business days. The plan includes 10 set-up products, which the team enters in batches of up to 10 with two revision rounds per batch, alongside the store profile, branding, payment connection, shipping and tax. The yearly plan includes managed hosting on Netbase VPS, backed up and kept current on the automatic stable-upgrade channel; Netbase Cloud and on-premise hosting are quoted separately, as described on the platform hub.
What happens to your store if you leave?
A subscriber can export its full store data (database, files and print files) if it ever leaves. The plan is billed yearly through PayPal and renews automatically each year at the same amount until cancelled. A cancelled plan keeps running to the end of the paid year, and fees already paid are not refunded; the full data export stays available. How W2P Solution is priced explains the plan structure; current yearly plan details are given on request through a project brief. To see the store before you decide, book a guided demo through the demo page; a view-only demo store will open later.
Where does Retail stop, and custom engineering start?
Retail is one fixed feature set shared by every subscriber on the edition, on a yearly plan and set up by the Netbase team in days rather than scoped and built. A seller whose pricing model needs a rule the edition does not express, or whose catalogue needs a configurator built around a specific product geometry, is better served by a commissioned build. Print product configurator describes that custom-engineering scope; send a project brief if that is closer to what you need than a subscription edition.
