Who is B2B Procurement for?
B2B Procurement is built for enterprise buyers who order print across several brands, teams or locations, and for the printers who serve them. A multi-brand marketing team, a franchise head office, or a corporate in-plant print department that wants self-service ordering without losing spend control are typical subscribers.
What does it add on top of Retail?
Everything in Retail is included: the storefront, the built-in designer, print pricing rules, hosted-payment checkout, print-ready PDF generation and a production queue. B2B Procurement adds the controls a buying organisation needs around that storefront:
- Organisations, teams and roles, so one store can serve several brands or locations with separate catalogues or pricing where needed
- Approval chains before an order is released to production
- Cost centres and budgets, so spend is attributed and capped where the organisation requires it
- Quotes and requests for quotation for orders that need a price confirmed before commitment
- Contract pricing per organisation, distinct from the public catalogue price
- One-click reorder for repeat print runs
- An audit trail of who ordered and who approved what
How does an order actually move through approvals?
A requester builds an order in the designer or from a reorder, submits it, and the store routes it to the approval chain configured for that organisation or cost centre. An approver sees the order, the cost centre it draws from and the remaining budget, and approves or declines it. Only an approved order reaches the production queue and generates its print-ready PDF; a declined order stays with the requester for changes. The audit trail records every step: who ordered, who approved, when, and against which budget.
How does this compare with the corporate print storefront service?
| Question | B2B Procurement edition | Corporate print storefront service |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | A fixed feature set shared by every subscriber | Software scoped and built for one client |
| Single sign-on, punch-out, ERP connection | Not included | Scoped case by case |
| Who sets it up | The Netbase team, handed over within 7 business days | The engineering team, after a scoped build |
| How it is paid | A yearly plan that renews automatically | A project quote |
| Who owns the code | Netbase operates the product | The client owns the result |
B2B and corporate print storefronts is a commissioned build: single sign-on, punch-out into a buyer's own procurement system, and an ERP integration are scoped case by case, and the result is software the client owns outright. B2B Procurement is the opposite shape: a fixed feature set on a yearly plan, set up by the Netbase team in days rather than scoped and built, with no custom integration work. A buyer who needs single sign-on, punch-out or an ERP connection today is better served by the commissioned service; a buyer whose requirement is organisations, approvals, budgets and contract pricing as described above can start on this edition now; book a guided demo through the demo page first, and note that a view-only demo store will open later.
How does setup work?
The Netbase team sets up every B2B Procurement store; subscribers do not set the store up themselves. The store is handed over within 7 business days, with organisations, approval chains and budgets configured with you. The plan includes 30 set-up products, entered in batches of up to 10 with two revision rounds per batch. Managed hosting on Netbase VPS is part of the yearly plan; Netbase Cloud and on-premise hosting are quoted separately.
What governs the data a subscriber puts into the store?
Every B2B Procurement store is its own isolated instance, with its own database and storage, backed up and kept current on the automatic upgrade channel. A subscriber can export its full store data, including every organisation's orders, approvals and print files, if it leaves. How W2P Solution is priced explains the plan structure, including how an enterprise deployment is quoted; current yearly plan details are given on request through a project brief. This page covers the edition's scope, not its cost.
The plan is billed yearly through PayPal and renews automatically each year at the same amount until cancelled. A cancelled plan keeps running to the end of the paid year, and fees already paid are not refunded; the full data export stays available.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, through organisations and teams configured within the subscription; each can carry its own catalogue or pricing where the edition's configuration allows it.
Yes, a chain can route through more than one approver before an order reaches production; the exact chain shape is configured per organisation.
Yes. Because B2B Procurement includes everything in Retail, moving up adds organisations, approvals and contract pricing without losing a catalogue or orders already in place.
That is commissioned work, not part of this subscription edition; see B2B and corporate print storefronts or send a project brief describing the integration you need.
