Who is Copulous Media and what market does it serve?
Copulous Media is an online print store based in Ireland. A read-only check of copulousmedia.ie on 2026-10-10 found an English-language WordPress storefront selling across five catalogues: business prints (cards, flyers, posters, stickers, stamps, lanyards and ID badges), exhibition and display (stands, roller banners, flag printing, tablecloths), party prints (invitations, welcome signs, graduation and bridal items), promotional items (apparel, drinkware, bags and other branded goods) and signage, alongside a graphic-design service for buyers who want a design made rather than built. A business-card product page checked the same day listed sides printing, quantity, lamination and delivery as separate options, and offered a choice between uploading your own artwork and using one of the store's designers.
The businesses named in these case studies are Netbase JSC clients; the web-to-print work described was delivered or designed by Netbase JSC, which operates Web2Print Solutions. Names, links and screenshots are shown with the operator's authorization and removed on request.

How big is Ireland's online print and e-commerce market?
Ireland has one of the most active online-shopper bases in the EU. Eurostat's e-commerce statistics for individuals, data extracted February 2026, report that among Irish individuals who had bought online in 2025, 87% had last bought within the three months before the survey. That was the highest rate in the EU, ahead of the Netherlands at 86% and above the EU figure of 62%.
The business side is less developed. The Central Statistics Office of Ireland's Information Society Statistics for enterprises, published 6 February 2026, found that 37.5% of Irish enterprises had e-commerce sales in 2025, almost two in five. A store selling five catalogues online is therefore in a minority among Irish businesses.
Selling online also brings VAT questions. The Revenue Commissioners list registration thresholds of 85,000 euros for persons supplying goods and 42,500 euros for services only, and 10,000 euros for intra-Community distance sales of goods, calculated on sales to customers in all EU Member States taken together. Revenue's page was read on 2026-10-10 and should be checked for current figures.
What business problem does a shop like this have to solve?
The store sells five catalogues that share little beyond the buyer. The checked business-card page lists sides printing, quantity, lamination and delivery as separate selections, while stands, roller banners, welcome signs, apparel, drinkware and signs are different physical products. An option set that suits one product hides or misstates another's, so the options have to belong to the product.
The second constraint is how artwork arrives. On the checked page a buyer can upload their own artwork or use one of the store's designers, which carries an added fee, and the store also sells a graphic-design service for buyers who want a design made for them. A store this wide needs all three routes to end in the same basket and checkout.
The third constraint is selling across a border. The Revenue Commissioners publish a 10,000-euro threshold for intra-Community distance sales, calculated across all EU Member States together. This page does not say whether Copulous Media ships outside Ireland.
What decisions and trade-offs shaped the project?
The records give task titles and dates only, so this section lists what they show and states no reasons for it.
-
Two product-preview and image fixes on one day
Two tasks titled as product-preview and image fixes were created on 22 July 2024, each due on 27 July.
-
Ordering and checkout as a titled task
A task titled ordering and checkout was created on 22 July 2024, due 6 August. Storefront navigation work was created separately on 31 July.
-
Five tasks created together on 31 July
Two performance-and-SEO optimisation tasks, two PHP and server-runtime tasks and one storefront navigation task were all created on 31 July 2024, each due 6 August.
-
Navigation work returned to twice
A navigation fix was created on 9 August and a further navigation task on 13 August, due 31 October 2024, the latest due date in the record. The milestone was dated 29 July, due 24 August and closed on 23 August.
How does an order move from product page to checkout?
A business-card product page on copulousmedia.ie, checked on 2026-10-10, sets out a buyer's path from options to the basket; the project records describe work on the same stages of that path.
- Choose the product and its options. On the checked business-card page the options are sides printing, quantity, lamination and delivery, each listed separately.
- Choose an artwork route. The buyer either uploads their own artwork or uses one of the store's designers, which carries an added fee.
- Upload the file or personalise the design. The file upload accepts a file of up to 32 MB, and the designer route personalises the design in the online designer.
- Add to basket or buy now when the buyer is ready to order; until then an option can be changed or cleared and chosen again. After checkout, production is Copulous Media's own.
-
Product options
On the checked business-card page: sides printing (single or double), quantity, lamination (none, matt or gloss) and a delivery choice
-
Price inputs
The options above, with an added fee for the designer route; no figures are published here
-
Artwork rules
A customer-uploaded file of up to 32 MB, or a design made in one of the store's designers
-
File output
The page states that delivery times are based on print-ready PDFs
-
Integrations
A WooCommerce catalogue and checkout, Elementor page building, a browser-based designer component and an augmented-reality product-preview component
The task records name three kinds of work that touch this path: product-preview and image fixes, ordering and checkout work, and storefront navigation. They list each as a task and do not say how any defect was found.
Netbase JSC maintains reusable web-to-print components - a browser-based online designer, rule-based print pricing templates, print-ready PDF output with CMYK conversion, bleed and trim, storefront connectors for WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix and custom stores, and a photobook and multi-page layout editor - which an engagement may reuse under their own licence terms. The catalogue and customer relationships belong to Copulous Media.

What was delivered over time?
-
2024, July (15-22)
A PHP and server-runtime task on 15 July, due the next day. On 22 July, two product-preview and image fixes and an ordering and checkout task.
-
2024, July (29-31)

-
2024, August to October
A navigation fix on 9 August; the milestone closes on 23 August; a further navigation task on 13 August is due 31 October, the latest date in the record.
The records list one milestone and eleven tasks, and all eleven carry a completed status. Five further records are administrative and are left out of this timeline.
What does this record show, and what does it not?
It shows dated records of a custom web-to-print engagement on an Irish online print store, July to October 2024, across one milestone and eleven tasks on storefront, checkout, preview, performance and server-runtime work.
It does not show order volume, conversion or any revenue figure; none is measured to a published method and none is claimed here. It does not show the store's earlier or later history: the dated task records cover July to October 2024 only. Web2Print Solutions is the web-to-print engineering service of Netbase JSC. Delivery records cited on this site belong to Netbase JSC; where no delivered example of a capability is published, the page says so rather than implying a record.
What should a print business in this niche take from it?
-
Build the option set per product, not once for the whole catalogue
The checked business-card page lists sides, quantity, lamination and delivery; those options do not transfer to a roller banner or a welcome sign.
-
Offer more than one route to artwork
This store offers an upload, a designer with an added fee, and a separate design service.
-
Scope checkout as its own piece of work
In these records ordering and checkout is a separately titled task.
-
Track the EU distance-selling threshold as a business-wide number
Revenue's 10,000-euro figure is calculated across customers in all EU Member States together, not per product line.
-
State delivery choices on the product page
The checked page lists a 24 to 48 hour collection-only option and a 3 to 5 business day option as selectable delivery choices.

How could a similar project start?
If you run a multi-category print store in Ireland or another EU country and want the same kind of record, send a project brief listing your current product catalogues, whether pricing already varies by option on each one, and whether your EU cross-border sales are tracked against the distance-selling threshold. Business-card and general print-product option logic is covered on business card editor and print-ready output and commercial print for Irish and EU buyers; apparel and branded-goods rules sit under apparel and promotional print and promotional product and gift designer, and signage option rules are on wide-format and signage. Storefront and checkout integration is described on web-to-print ecommerce integration and print product configurator. A related multi-category European record is the LynxDigiPrint case study in the Netherlands; every case study is indexed on the evidence hub.
